I started using Feedly to read RSS feeds again during Blogjune around 2015 I think.
I still use it for feeds of the ABC Just In stories and the Conversation each night, but not a lot more.
Each Blogjune, some blogs in the the bundle of RSS feeds I saved the previous year become active, but fewer and fewer each year.
I took a screenshots of the list from 2016. I miss so many of the different voices. I would love to see even one entry from any of these this June …hint, hint 🙂

I still read Feedly almost daily though rarely library blogs these days and mostly tech and gaming stuff. Day to day personal stuff and not so much professional stuff. I’m also very out of touch with american blogging which seems weird, and less in touch with america generally.
I am really enjoying your blog June, and should work out how I can get a few blogs in. My blogging has been less the last few years (mainly because of part time study and full time work), but I am mostly managing a post a month, even it they are mainly book reviews. I use newsblur, and mostly check once a week as I still really like rss feeds.
Thanks for this post! It caused some rumination which ended up in a post in my blog.
🙂 I like Morgan’s idea of the season of blogging being past, and that being OK … EXCEPT.. I really like reading the considered thoughts of people like Morgan, Ellen and snail .. so maybe I am just a bit of a diehard 🙂
I had a similar reaction last year when I moved my feeds over to NewsBlur. For myself, I have found the ease and immediate feedback of social media platforms to be more appealing than writing short essays on a blog, though occasionally I try if I have something substantial to comment on.
