Here is how the library describes the challenge.<\/p>\n

The Set\u00a0Up<\/h3>\n

We\u2019re pitting Mosman Library\u2019s online reference collection<\/a> against what you can find from the search box on the world wide web!<\/p>\n

Each day during Library & Information Week<\/a> we\u2019ll be posting a question that represents the range of queries that we get at Mosman Library.<\/p>\n

The questions have been moderated by Ellen Forsyth of the State Library of NSW<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

You decide who gives the best answers and wins the challenge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Players<\/h3>\n

\"\"Our Reference Librarian Jane B<\/strong> will represent Mosman Library. She\u2019ll use only Mosman Library\u2019s electronic resources to answer the question.<\/p>\n

\"\"Our Internet & IT Services Librarian Ken D<\/strong> will represent the search engine. He\u2019ll use only freely-available web resources to formulate his answer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The\u00a0Rules<\/h3>\n

Each player has 45 minutes to research the question.<\/p>\n

They have another 45 minutes to write up their answer and outline their search strategy.<\/p>\n

Each day\u2019s question will go online at 10am AEST<\/span>. The answers will be published at noon.<\/p>\n

You can vote once on each round.<\/p>\n
