People were a lot more prepared to step up to present and contribute this year &#8211; and people seemed to know a lot more about Web2.0 than they did last year. This was a major frustration for many participants, others just got on with the job despite the limitations and made the best of it.<\/p>\n<p>I did a truncated\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/unconferencewalibrary.pbwiki.com\/Unconf+08+Videocasting+vodcasting+lifestreaming\">session about vodcasting<\/a> &#8211; when all else technical failed, I used my eeePC and own wireless modem. We made a little video to demonstrate why Viddler is so much easier to use than YouTube:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.viddler.com\/explore\/sirexkat\/videos\/10\/\" id=\"titleLink\" title=\"Recorded video\" rel=\"bookmark\">Library Unconference session on Vodcasting<\/a><\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000\" width=\"437\" height=\"370\" id=\"viddler_92f8c61f\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.viddler.com\/player\/92f8c61f\/\" \/><param name=\"allowScriptAccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n<p>I brought a big red suitcase in from home, full to the brim with hardware for the after lunch\u00a0 &#8220;Inspect a Gadget&#8221; session.
