Anyone can phone in and be part of the panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/uncontrolledvocabulary.com\/wp-content\/themes\/ad-clerum-10\/ad-clerum-10\/images\/unvocablogoWP.jpg\" height=\"123\" width=\"179\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately some element of headset, PC,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.talkshoe.com\/talkshoe\/web\/talkCast.jsp?masterId=38665&amp;cmd=tc\">Talkshoe<\/a>, gizmo, Windows and the great Intertube-under-the-sea meant that I created a horrible feedback and echo problem. I was muted for most of the talk. I could press a button to let Greg know that I wanted to contribute, then muted again. Was interesting, because it gave me time to think and meant I really had to have something to say when I spoke. I&#8217;m not sure that it is a Good Thing that thinking before I talk is novel \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Some of my favourite items we talked about were the <a href=\"http:\/\/llyfrgellydd.info\/?p=70\" onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outbound\/article\/http:\/\/llyfrgellydd.info\/?p=70');\">Cover letter meme<\/a> ,   <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oclc.org\/news\/releases\/200811.htm\" onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outbound\/article\/http:\/\/www.oclc.org\/news\/releases\/200811.htm');\">OCLC and Google to exchange data, link digitized books to WorldCat  <\/a>and the  <a href=\"http:\/\/librarygarden.blogspot.com\/2008\/05\/new-it-librarian-application.html\" onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outbound\/article\/http:\/\/librarygarden.blogspot.com\/2008\/05\/new-it-librarian-application.html');\">The New IT Librarian Application<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>After the show had finished, Stephen Kellat, who does the<a href=\"http:\/\/lisnews.org\/podcast\/\"> LISTen podcast<\/a> asked me to record an interview about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alia.org.au\/advocacy\/liw\/\">Australian Library and Information Week<\/a>. Being totally unqualified to do so, I said yes. Yes, I forgot to mention <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.flexnib.com\/2008\/05\/22\/final-scores\/\">coming fourth at the Curtin Alumni LIW quiz night <\/a>(oops), or the Biggest Morning Tea.
