It&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcper.com\/article.php?aid=372\" target=\"_blank\">Logitech VX Revolution<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2116\/2091318786_657859d818.jpg\" width=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a fan of using animated entrances in Powerpoint &#8211; so any of my talks involve 2-8 mouse clicks per slide &#8211; bringing in the headings one by one as I talk. I bought my radio mouse so that I could wander around and click as I went&#8230;but it&#8217;s become so much more&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2249\/2090536805_c62ac0329f.jpg\" width=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It fits my hand exactly and prevents fatigue.<\/li>\n<li>It is much smoother and has more precise action than regular mice.<\/li>\n<li>It has squillions of buttons that can be programmed. I have set it so that I can do all camera and avatar movement in Second Life from the mouse without using the keyboard at all (Do I do this? No &#8211; I&#8217;m too used to the keyboard)<\/li>\n<li>It has a free spinning scroll wheel that I just whizz to get instantly to the bottom of a pdf file.<\/li>\n<li>It has a cute little slot at the back that the transmitter fits into so I never lose it<\/li>\n<li>The battery seems to last forever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2145\/2090536915_2d3b5d91ab.jpg\" width=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I even went so far as to buy it&#8217;s bigger cousin, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ozhardware.com.au\/Input-Device-Reviews\/Logitech-G5-Gaming-Mouse-2007-Revision.html\" target=\"_blank\">Logitech G5 Gaming mouse<\/a>, when I found it for 2\/3 retail price. Even though the cord is more like rope than wire, and it has super-duper polytetrafluoroehtylene feet that make it glide like Disney-on-Ice , it&#8217;s not quite the same. It does improve my experience at my PC considerably, and I would suggest one as a Christmas gift for anyone with both a PC and hands.<\/p>\n<p>If, however, you are completely sick of clicking, pop over to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dontclick.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Don&#8217;t ClickIt .<\/a> to see what navigation could look like without mouse clicks (and watch 20 second replays of the paths taken by the last users of the site to see whether they gave into temptation and clicked)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been asked a couple of times about the radio mouse I use for presentations.
