Thanks for your really kind words. Sorry not to answer them individually. I have contacted some of you directly. The last few weeks have been an amazing whirl and I feel so *rude* :)

Hi. I was just blog surfing and came across a link to your site (something about top Australian blogs). Anyhow, I came, I looked and I laughed. I love the comment about communicating with librarians in far flung places. I am a Teacher studying for a Masters of Information Science (Teacher Librarian) through Charles Sturt Uni. I am in Vientiane, Laos and it is pretty far flung. Very few public libraries here... and definitely no English language ones.

I look forward to reading more of your blog.

Cheers
Rebecca

that is one heck of a schedule, Kathryn! I think you will deserve to be named an honorary Shanachie if you survive it all. ;->

If I can be of any help setting you up at the CIL conference in Washington, DC, please let me know. (as the former editor of CIL magazine I've been to the last 12 or 13 CIL conferences.)

I also live near Philadelphia, and so if you'll be in Philly around your 9 April time in Villanova and want a tourguide or meal companion, do let me know.

then I will see you again in Delft for UGame... and looking forward to a bit of fun there in addition to the conference on 23 April.

email me anytime if I can do anything to facilitate your trip or studies.
