Madhu. I agree. I think we need to take time to carefully define what the shift is as well.

this is an excellent article i have come across on library 2.0 concept.Ideas area many
but when in comes to question of practice, the librarians' must showcase themselves to the whole world that they are not really opposing the paradigm shift

Hi Kate. Thanks. It did go well, but that was partly because the day was aimed at people who were passionate.

Maeve - Ah, I did indeed ask you about zoho. I think you can make the first post remain on top using blogger - if this is what you mean ? Otherwise you could backdate all your new posts so nothing has a date later than your first post (or change the date of your first post to something later each time you add one).

I think it would work well using zoho, as it looks like there is not a lot of comment action on most 23 Things main blogs anyhow.

Katherine,
Some time ago you asked me why I used Zoho for my 23 things posts. There are 2 reasons -
1. I couldn't work out how to have a separate page in Blogger to display the full text of the "Things" to be done for a particular week while keeping just the basics on the main blog.
2. Zoho is so Web 2.0 and has great possibilities for collaboration. I didn't want to be a "know-it-all" so hoped to introduce it to my colleagues through the back door!

Kathryn,
Great presentation, and I'm sure it will all go well at the Unconference as well.
I've been reading your blog for a while now- and I have to say that it was great to hear your voice!
I'm a librarian working at ACU in Canberra and about to be seconded into an more 2.0 role...so will be in touch.
cheers
