Y’know how dooced means you were sacked because your employer takes exception to your blogging?
Well - maybe if you spend too much time in Second Life during work time, you’ll get slooced?

On a slightly related note, this was recently posted on Library Stuff…
I had a brief read of the linked article, and it’s all striking me as being very judgemental and I guess my biggest objection is where the author, in his almost-final words, sets up a very incorrect false-dichotomy of “information literacy” (his quotation marks) vs. books.
*sigh*
Thanks Andrew. I think Rochelle’s comment on the post is interesting too - it can be a matter of priorities for your clients as well.
I like her comment that for her library “It’s not a fit with our community, we don’t have the time, and we are more than happy to let others bring up and nurture this baby before we bring it to our bosom”.
